Most farmer’s markets take place during the summer, but in Ithaca, you can also shop for produce and local goods during the winter months. The winter Ithaca farmer’s market takes place annually from early January through the end of March. Visit the market during your Finger Lakes vacation and support our community when you buy local produce, baked goods, or artisan products. Whether you want to take back sweet treats to enjoy in your room at La Tourelle or find the perfect gift to commemorate your vacation, the winter market has something for everyone!

Vendors at the Ithaca Winter Farmer’s Market

Take a break from a day of activities and spend your Saturday exploring the Ithaca farmer’s market. Visit the Triphammer Marketplace between 10:30 am - 2:00 pm and shop dozens of local vendors. Read on to discover what products are available.

Produce

You can still find plenty of fresh produce during the winter months. Littletree Orchards sells apples and apple products like butter, cider, and applesauce. Vendors such as Stick and Stone Farm offer carrots, beets, garlic, and potatoes. 

Baked Goods & Other Food

If you have a sweet tooth, you must get a baked good from Vernoinika’s Pastries while you are at the market. Veronika’s has delicious bread challah, chocolate, croissants, strudels, and scones available. 

 

There are dozens of food vendors available selling various products, from grass-fed beef and local dairy products to jams and fruit syrups. We also recommend Mojo’s Sauce for any hot sauce lovers out there!

Artisan Products & Apparel

Ithaca is home to many talented artists and artisans selling their works and handmade products at the winter market. Find unique ear warmers, scrunchies, and face masks at Carolina Perez Designs.
